Stop rebuilding your teaching week from scratch.
Teacher Operating System is a 6-week small-group coaching experience for PK–12 teachers in their first three years who want practical systems for planning, organization, communication, and follow-through.
- 6 weeks of live coaching
- Maximum 12 teachers
- Tuesdays, October 20–November 24, 2026
- 7:00–8:00 p.m. Eastern

You learned how to teach. Very few people taught you how to manage everything that comes with being a teacher.
The problem is not that you are not working hard. The problem is that planning, communication, deadlines, meetings, paperwork, and instructional responsibilities often compete for your attention without one clear system connecting them.

Teaching Wasn’t Supposed to Feel This Scattered
You start the week with good intentions, but not always with a clear workflow.
Lesson planning is in one place. Grades are somewhere else. Parent communication, meeting notes, paperwork, deadlines, and classroom tasks all compete for your attention at the same time.
So you spend too much energy deciding what to work on next.
Your planner helps with some things. Your calendar helps with others. Folders, sticky notes, tabs, and apps may each hold a piece of the work, but they do not always work together.
By the end of the day, it can feel like there is still something you meant to do, check, send, print, update, or prepare.
That is how work follows you home.
Not because you are not trying. Not because you are not committed. Not because you are doing teaching wrong.
The problem is that teaching gives you more moving pieces than a basic planner can hold.
You need a practical system for seeing what needs to happen, when it needs to happen, and how each part of your work connects.
That is what your Teacher Operating System is built to help you create.
Program Overview
Teacher Operating System is a live small-group coaching experience for you if you are an early-career PK–12 teacher. It is not a self-paced course and not a traditional professional development workshop.
Each week, you bring the real challenges you are managing in your teaching week into the coaching space. Together, we look at what is creating friction and build practical systems you can try in your actual classroom.
Between sessions, you use what you built. Then you come back, look at what worked, troubleshoot what did not, and adjust the system so it works better for you.
See the problem. Build the system. Try it. Adjust it. Make it repeatable.
Small by Design
Your Teacher Operating System cohort is intentionally limited to Maximum 12 teachers so you have room to participate, ask questions, bring real challenges into the coaching, learn from other early-career teachers, and receive direct coaching and feedback.
The value of the small group is not artificial scarcity. It is the quality of the coaching, the level of participation, and the space to build something practical enough to use again the next week.
What You’ll Build
You are not being handed somebody else’s perfect planner or rigid system.
Inside Teacher Operating System, you will build a practical system that fits your classroom, your responsibilities, and the way your teaching week actually works.
This is about creating a clearer way to manage the work you already have, so your planning, deadlines, communication, and follow-through are not scattered across separate places with no connection.
- A repeatable weekly planning routine you can come back to each week
- A clearer system for organizing your priorities and deadlines
- A workflow for your recurring teaching responsibilities
- Practical routines for your communication and follow-through
- A way to keep important responsibilities from living only in your head
- A process for deciding what needs your attention now, what can wait, and what can be simplified
- A more connected approach to your calendar, tasks, planning, and other organizational tools
- A Teacher Operating System you can keep refining after the six-week coaching experience ends
The goal is not to make teaching effortless. The goal is to help the moving pieces fit together in a way you can actually use.
Is Teacher Operating System for You?
If you are in your first three years of teaching and you are tired of carrying deadlines, tasks, communication, planning, and follow-through in several different places, this was built for you.
Teacher Operating System is for you if you want a clearer, more repeatable way to manage the work surrounding your teaching without forcing yourself into somebody else’s system.
This work can support you across PK–12 classrooms, including both general education and special education settings, because the focus is not on one grade level, subject, or curriculum. The focus is on helping you build practical systems for planning, priorities, communication, deadlines, follow-through, and the responsibilities that sit around instruction.
This Is for You If...
- You are working hard but still feel like you are constantly reacting.
- You have planners, calendars, apps, folders, or lists, but they do not work together as one system.
- You sometimes worry that something important is being forgotten.
- You spend too much time deciding what to work on next.
- You want practical support, not more theory.
- You are willing to try new routines, reflect on what works, and adjust your system as you go.
- You want a clearer, more repeatable way to manage the responsibilities that come with teaching.

Meet Dr. Jess Hammond
Dr. Jess Hammond has spent decades mentoring and supporting new teachers as they navigate the first years of teaching.
She has spent decades working with and mentoring new teachers as they navigate the uncertainty and competing demands of those first few years.
As a former principal, she saw firsthand how much new teachers are asked to manage while they are still learning the rhythms of the profession.
Today, she teaches in teacher preparation programs, which keeps me closely connected to the questions, challenges, and uncertainty future and early-career teachers are navigating right now.
Her work at the state level also gave her a broader view of how policy, school expectations, leadership, and classroom practice connect.
She created the Teacher Operating System because she doesn't believe you need another person telling you to work harder. You need practical systems, a place to ask questions, and support as you figure out what works in your actual teaching context.
